No 1 Spins Alone (www.no1spinsalone.com): Web-based resource & social group that hosts weekly gatherings. They promote safety & education for fire play with a direct focus on spinning Poi. Based in DC & N.Va. They also have gatherings in Baltimore & Maryland. Although they keep their main site current, they also have a Facebook Group for notices & updates.Kindlers of the Sacred Rhythm (SacredRhythm.org): Pagan-based organization offering a social & spiritual forum to explore a deeper connection to Spirit (& each other). As practitioners of the "Ordeal Path," many of its members are part of the BDSM &/or Pagan community (though it is not necessary). We follow a spiritual practice that all life is sacred & imbued with divinity, & that every action is a ritual in praise to the creative. We come together to share ideas & experiences, to explore new ways of looking at the universe, & find community with others of like mind.
Sacred Mark Sanctuary (www.SacredMarks.com): Blending tribal ritual with sensual desire, the cornerstone of Sacred Mark is to more deeply explore the connection between mind, body, & spirit. Embracing both the sacred & profane, they seek an enriched journey. As a group, they provide weekly happy hours, educational workshops, as well as fully evolved events & weekend retreats. DC TNG (DCTNG.com): Social meet & greet happy hours are hosted every Tuesday at Lupe Cantina. On-premise parties are also held throughout the area. Events are geared towards the young & kinky but are open to all. However, you must be known to the group or make at least one happy hour before attending the private parties. DXS Rapture

organization hosting on-site play parties at a well equipped but discreet location. Full bar, dancing,

Women Rule (Women-Rule-Parties.com): Maryland based group for dominant women and those who serve them. They welcome submissives of all genders including male, female, trans, etc. as well as women who switch. Parties are held on the 3rd Saturday of every month.

Dark Odyssey / Dark Odyssey (www.DarkOdyssey.com): A unique organization combining both the BDSM Culture & Swinger Community, offering very full scale on-premise events that move flawlessly between both the various cultures represented (Winter Fire for instance takes over an entire hotel
downtown). They also host weekly happy hours as a simple meet &

XOXO (www.Geocities.com/dcxoxo/XOenter): Monthly on-premise group for very select couples & women in the Lifestyle. Events sell out at 150 people & feature play rooms, DJ & Dancing, & an enticing multi-level venue. All parties are privately held & by direct invitation only. Washington Metro BBW Swingers (www.BBWParties.com): A regional group that hosts regular on premise parties as well as off premise meet & greets specifically for 'Big Beautiful Women' & the people who love them. Events tend to alternate between MD & N. VA. (adjacent events are also held in Baltimore & Delaware) - Single Men, Women, & Couples are all welcome.
Capital Cream:
Formally hosted monthly on premise Play Parties in & around DC. This was a
couples only organization. After
recent issues w/ zoning, they have shut down operations & moved forward w/ more select private parties.
Harford County Swing Club (HCSC): MoCo: On premise house parties for couples & select women
twice a month. Hosted by Ron
& Cookie as the Silver Spring chapter of HCSC. Upon last update, their Website was Down. Status is in Question & Needs to be Confirmed.
Open Minded Events (OpenMindedEvents.Blogspot.com): Private group sponsoring all male play parties in Dupont. Affairs offer a no-pressure environment but active participation is encouraged. Pics & stats are required for invitation. A donation of $20-$40 are requested per party. There is NO donation for first time attendees. Previously known as Having Parties. They have since stopped the male/female/trans format.
Naked Boys of N.Va (www.NakedBoysofNoVa.com): A relatively new group to the DC & Northern Virginia scene, they provide private parties, select meet & greet opportunities, & various forums to get together, get naked, & have fun in a comfortable, discreet, no pressure setting.

dedicated group offering 2 distinct & different parties. One is
specifically for women & the transgender community, while the other
is for men. Both are held at a dedicated play space in DC.
Down-to-earth & welcoming, they provide discreet events for those
who identify as kinky, kink-curious, leather-dykes, leather-bois, with

As a diverse group for gay & bisexual males in the BDSM community,
SigMa holds regular events & play
parties at its fully equipped play space & dungeon. A free
education series (S/M 101) is also held on the second Monday of each
month at the DC Eagle. Further events are hosted throughout the year.

Active since 1999, MAsT of Washington serves as a support group for
Masters, slaves, & those interested in the M/s D/s lifestyle.
Meetings to discuss different aspects of M/s relationships are held the

Falls Church City Group / FCCG:
Private group hosting all male play parties on a very frequent schedule. Voluntary donation is as low as $7 & the group generally sees about 20 men per gathering. Sons du Soleil - Gay male nudist group in the DC & Mid-Atlantic region. They provide a yahoo post board & host between 2-4 major functions each year. No membership fee. Small donation for parties to help cover the cost of food, etc. Website has been diverted but we believe they're still active. We're currently checking on location & status so please check back.

They host monthly play parties every 3rd Saturday in their Playhouse Studio, as well as workshops on every first Sunday. They can also be seen participating in many community events throughout the year. They do have an application process & pledge period to gain full membership. Northern Delaware D/s (www.NorthernDelawareDs.net): Since 2004, Steve & Tami have been hosting events throughout the year, including their grand event, the NDDS
Boot Camp. New members must first attend a
munch to be included within the group. Current members must attend a munch, event, or group party at least once every 3 months to remain on the list-serve. There is no fee for membership.
Chesapeake Bay Swinging Boaters (www.SwingingBoaters.com): An on-line forum for area boaters in the Lifestyles Community. They hold regular gatherings in & around the Chesapeake region. A 'host' (anyone who would like to initiate a tryst) makes a post & members then respond with their intention to join the meet. Chesapeake Polyamory Network (groups.yahoo.com/group/cpn): CPN used to be a centralized organization, but when its formal membership began to dwindle it changed its format to more of a community. It remains active in the area, but events now come from the community itself & not a centralized structure. Events & discussion are posted through yahoo groups.
Seaside Encounters - Bummer! Yet another great venue has closed it's doors for good. The Lifestyle's favored weekend getaway to Bethany Beach has sold its house & left the area so it is no more. Quite sad... :-(
